Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania who earned her master's doctorate in master's studies at The University of Miami. After moving to New York City, she began her professional life as an CBS Sports Video Coordinator. She was awarded the Sports Emmy in Miami during her stint at WTVJ-TV. She also worked for WPLG-TV in Miami and WPEC-TV which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. She joined ESPN in 1993, and was one of the anchors of ESPN2 which was established. The time she worked with ESPN2 ran for three years. She then moved on to Fox Sports. After that, she was back at ESPN and is currently hosts the show 'Monday Night Countdown.'
