Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her final year she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut.
