Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the company's producer costume/set designer writer/music director as well as a text coach. In her final year she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from acting, she's also been associated with several game shows. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were raised by her scientist father Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she studied and cheered. The school she attended was Pomona College. Post's previous marriage was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a great actress, a wonderful mother and wife, and also she is a role model to many Hollywood celebrities.
